ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture calls upon your own body’s internal resources to help you let go of pain and find true balance again.

We insert very fine, sterilized, single-use needles into specific acupuncture points. Then, Qi (energy + blood flow) is stimulated, allowing your own body’s internal resources to switch-on, ultimately helping you to experience relaxation and relief. While it’s most commonly used to treat pain and tension, it can also serve as a powerful preventative tool. Needles work to unwind “stuck” energy which allows your body’s natural processes to resume their flow.

It’s important to note that Acupuncture is NOT a one-and-done kind of treatment. Healing and rebalancing of your body can take some time - especially for more chronic conditions (anything that’s been with you for more than a few months). For best results, we typically recommend you start with a round of 6-8 sessions (2-3x weekly for very chronic and/or intense symptoms), then tapering down to weekly, then bi-weekly, then to maintenance/monthly tune-ups. Each treatment builds upon the last, so spacing treatments closer together in the very beginning of your healing journey allows you to make the very most of your investment and will give you the best chance to experience the relief you so deserve.
